About Me

My name is Jaclyn and I received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Exercise and Sport Science with a concentration in athletic training and physical fitness management from Spring Arbor University.  In May of 2008, I finished my Master's of Science degree in Orthotics & Prosthetics at Eastern Michigan University.  Currently I'm working as a prosthetic resident in Seattle, WA.  I'm also a former collegiate basketball player and high school coach.  My plan is to become a certified prosthetist and work with elite and recreational amputee athletes.  My goal is to provide an opportunity for amputees to enjoy and play basketball with their prosthesis without being restricted to a wheelchair.
